Seraph Leveling Guide: Act I – The Beginning of Your Adventure

We begin our adventure with the first mission, where we need to speak with Metallaws. He will ask us to meet Agamand, who is waiting for us at the camp. At this point, we can choose the type of weapon we want to start the adventure with.

We will chose the bow as we will level up using the “Bow and Crossbow” talents. Once we select our weapon, we will head to the abandoned village to investigate why the monsters are resurrecting. Before entering the map, a window will pop up asking us whether we want to do it in a group (Join) or if we prefer to go solo (On my own).

As we travel, we will come across optional missions marked in green. Since our goal is to level up as quickly as possible to reach high-level content, we will only accept those that come our way, completing those that follow the main mission line.

As we level up, we will receive skill points and ability points. As mentioned earlier, we will level up using the skills of “Bow and Crossbow,” so our first skill points will be placed in “Magic Arrow”.

And we will put all the attribute points we get, 5 points each time we level up, in DEX.

After discovering what is happening in the abandoned village, we will return to the camp to inform Agamand. Upon completing the mission, we will be directed to go to “Sonora Ruins,” so we will take the portal we have opened to return, thus saving time.

Remember, by clicking on the mission, steps will appear indicating the path to follow.

At this point in the game, we will be asked to purify our first “shrine.” To purify it, we need to activate an event (waves of enemies) and kill all the enemies that appear. Upon completion, an “Amulet Key” will drop, necessary for unlocking slots in our “Amulet Pack.”

It is important that whenever we are near a “shrine,” we approach to do the event and thus unlock the slots of the “Amulet Pack.” If we play with the map activated (TAB), they will appear as a purple icon.

We will continue completing missions and face our first boss enemy “The Stitched Horror.” When we have finished with it, we will be given a pet and a 1-day token to activate it.

The pet is quite practical as it will collect all the loot that drops for us. We can configure the quality and type of items we want it to collect automatically.

Another functionality of the pet is that we can break the equipment we are not interested in without having to return to the camp. Lastly, the pet also has a shop where we can sell items that cannot be savaged, repair equipment, and even buy potions and scrolls.

Upon returning to the camp, we complete the mission by talking to Malpas, and he will give us a “Rare” quality weapon. During the beta, if you closed the conversation after being shown the reward items, the attributes of the items changed, so you could look for attributes that brought you the most benefit. Early in the game, it is important to have an item that gives “MP Regen on Hit” so that our mana lasts much longer and we can practically spam abilities. Another important attribute on the weapon is “Enhanced Weapon DMG” as it will increase our weapon damage. If the option to reroll the attributes of the items is still active at the game’s launch, we can try to get a weapon similar to the following image.

Continuing with our progress through the main adventure, it is important that we use portals correctly to avoid unnecessary walks.

For example, in the following image, we are in the “Ravine Campground” camp and have to go to a new area that we have not yet discovered, as we see with the “?” next to the mission objective marker “!”. In this case, the best option is to use the teleport to “Sonora Ruins” and from there follow the steps that appear when we click on the mission text.

When we reach level 6, we will be able to activate one of our main skills: “Multi-Shot,” with which we will clear the maps much more effectively and quickly.

We continue advancing with the main adventure missions, leveling up, and placing skill points in “Multi-shot” and attribute points in DEX.

At level 11, we will put our first point in “Passive and Magic” as in that branch we have very important talents such as “Roll,” which will help us to dodge attacks and move more quickly through the maps, and “Valkyrie’s Descent,” which will help us tank the final enemies while shooting them from a distance.

After defeating Demonking-Dantalion, we will obtain a “World Ring” that we must purify by speaking with Seraphine and entering the “Origin.”

Inside Origin, we have a table where we can purify or upgrade the World Rings. In this case, our mission is to purify it.

Once purified, the World Ring will give us upgrade points for some of the Valkyrie’s skills, ideally improvements for some of our main skills such as “multi-shot.”

The purified item is placed in the “World Ring” slot in the inventory, which appears on the left edge just below our “Amulet Pack.”

Another item that the final bosses of the act drop is “The Book of Magic” which, when used with the right button, will grant us 1 skill point.

To be continued…
